Coconut oil – are you using it?
- How much are you using?
- Do you know all that it does for you?
- Did you know you should be ingesting it ….every….single…day?
☕️Did you know you can put it in your coffee or tea or even make frosting out of it, that will rival the best frosting found in the middle of one of those bad for you vanilla cookies?
I started THM in January 2015. I read (some of) the first book. The sisters talked about coconut oil and how good it is for you and all the benefits and how you should ingest copious amounts of it. I took that to heart. If there’s one single thing that I have ingested EVERYDAY over the last 3 1/2 years… it’s coconut oil. It’s the cooking oil I use 99% of the time. I scramble eggs, I fry or brown meats, I add it to smoothies, I add it to coffee or tea (MUST BE BLENDED), I add it in everywhere I possible can. I always use more than a recipe calls for.
Coconut oil – not a suggestion.
Coconut oil on this plan isn’t merely a “suggestion” of something you should use, it’s an essential, recommended, fat burning, health promoting, lubricating, super food!
The best form is extra virgin unrefined, but if you have trouble with the taste or flavor, next best thing is the cheap Luana brand found at Walmart and most grocery stores which doesn’t have a smell or taste. I also use a buttery flavored one, which is refined, so no coconut taste…just the taste of butter and the benefits of coconut oil.
If you take nothing else away from this post, remember this:
coconut oil burns FAT!!!! Go eat some!
Here’s one of my fat burning frostings that I make for a quick treat when I’m craving sweets!
