In my pre-THM life, I used to enjoy a cup of sugar laden, chemical filled hot chocolate, with a big glob of not quite so healthy whipped cream. I wanted to enjoy that experience in my (not so) new way of eating, so I set out to recreate that taste, but make it totally healthy. Hope you enjoy this as much as I do!
Ingredients
- 8 oz heated unsweetened nut milk
- 1 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tsp buttery coconut oil
- 2 Tbsp SweetEs fusion sweet
- 1 scoop hydrolyzed collagen peptides
- 1/4 tsp sunflower lecithin
- 1/4 tsp aluminum free baking powder
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 Pinch mineral salt
- 1 shake cinnamon
- 1 small handful spinach I use fresh that I’ve frozen without blanching
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in heat safe high speed blender. Blend until fully smooth. I use the purée feature on my Dash which runs 1:40 seconds.
- Pour into cup, top with dollop of my SweetEs Homemade Whip Cream

What would make this a Fat with only 1 tsp of CO? I’m a little confused?
The nut milk also has fat. 2.5 grams in 8 oz.
