I’ve never ever been a fan of mushrooms. I couldn’t quite bring myself to eat them…until now. A young lady named Ellen Cote introduced me to an interesting way of preparing them that is out of this world delish. Hope you enjoy these as much as I did!
Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp virgin coconut oil
- 1 1/2 ” thick bone-in pork chop about 6 oz
- 1/4 tsp adobo seasoning
- 1/8 tsp garlic powder
- 1/8 tsp onion powder
- 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp liquid aminos
- 1-2 portabella mushrooms thinly sliced
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350
- Heat oil in oven proof pan over med high heat.
- Season pork chop with all dry seasonings.
- Brown chops in hot oil about 1 minute on each side.
- Place mushrooms pieces in pan surrounding chop, pour Worcestershire sauce and liquid aminos over mushrooms and pork chop
- Transfer pan to oven - cook 12-15 minutes.
