I’ve never ever been a fan of mushrooms. I couldn’t quite bring myself to eat them…until now. A young lady named Ellen Cote introduced me to an interesting way of preparing them that is out of this world delish. Hope you enjoy these as much as I did!

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp virgin coconut oil
  • 1 1/2 ” thick bone-in pork chop about 6 oz
  • 1/4 tsp adobo seasoning
  • 1/8 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/8 tsp onion powder
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp liquid aminos
  • 1-2 portabella mushrooms thinly sliced

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350
  • Heat oil in oven proof pan over med high heat.
  • Season pork chop with all dry seasonings.
  • Brown chops in hot oil about 1 minute on each side.
  • Place mushrooms pieces in pan surrounding chop, pour Worcestershire sauce and liquid aminos over mushrooms and pork chop
  • Transfer pan to oven - cook 12-15 minutes.
