Y’all know I have a Popeye’s Cup of Joe, which is my coffee with spinach blended in. I know it sounds crazy…But try it! Anyways, many of you have asked does this work with tea? Well I decided to finally try it with metabolism boosting, fat burning, teas and it’s yummy!!!
Ingredients
- 6 oz brewed oolong tea
- 4 oz brewed cinnamon tea
- 2 Tbsp hydrolyzed collagen
- 1/4 tsp sunflower lecithin
- 1 tsp MCT oil
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp caramel extract
- 2 Tbsp SweetEs Fusion Sweet
- 1 pinch mineral salt
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper
- 1/2 cup fresh frozen spinach
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in heat safe high speed blender. Process on Purée (1:40 on your Dash blender) until creamy and frothy.

Sounds interesting! I can’t have spinach because of a kidney stone formation tendency. Do you think okra or broccoli would work as a substitute ?
Spinach has such a mild flavor, it’s easier to hide. You can give okra a shot, use about a 1/2 cup diced frozen okra, and blend it to smithereens. Add vanilla, and caramel extracts to mask it as much as possible.

Jacque, can you not have any leafy greens? If spinach is the only no no, you could try kale. And is cooked spinach bad for your kidney stones, bor just the raw, because of the phytates (or something like that)? Because if cooked is okay, I wonder if this would be okay for you since the spinach is in hot tea?

How did I miss this one? It’s delicious!!! Didn’t have cinnamon tea so I just did a shake of cinnamon….no cayenne either but this is definitely one I will make sure I have ALL of the ingredients for!!!! Yum!!!!!
