If you’ve tried my original Chokra Smoothie, you know it’s the bomdiggity! Seriously though, considering that er…um… not so wonderful tasting-but chock full of benefits- slimy pod hiding in there, it’s pretty delicious! Well, with the tweaks and additions made here, I’ve taken this drink to a whole new level of goodness and benefits and I’ve increased the yumminess factor! Keep a jar of instant coffee on hand even if you don’t drink coffee. Add it it anything chocolate, including baked goods, to really enrich the chocolate flavor.

**edited to add: if your chocolate is weak, add more. If your sweetener isn’t sweet enough, add more. I just remade this for the second time with a different chocolate and sweetener, and had to add more of both!
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsweetened nut milk
- 1 cup frozen diced okra
- 1 cup fresh/frozen spinach
- 3 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 4 Tbsp SweetEs fusion sweet or your sweetener blend
- 1 pinch mineral salt
- 1 Tbsp instant coffee granules ramps up the chocolatey flavor
- 2 Tbsp hemp seeds (optional but beneficial)
- 1/2 tsp sunflower lecithin
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp almond extract
- 1/2 tsp glucomannan
- 1 scoop whey protein isolate
- 1 tsp MCT oil
- 1-2 cups ice
Instructions
- Purée first seven ingredients in high speed blender (90 seconds) until smooth
- Add balance of ingredients
- Blend one additional minute.
- Enjoy!
