Ingredients
- 1 medium jicama
- 1/4 tsp mineral salt
- 1/8 tsp creole seasoning
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- Coconut oil for frying. I used butter flavored.
Instructions
- Peel jicama being sure to peel secondary layer of peel as well
- Cut in shoestring size fries. The thinner they’re cut the more evenly they cook.
- Place in pot with enough water to cover and boil for 20 minutes
- Remove, drain and season to coat well.
- Heat oil in frying pan, enough to have 1/4” in pan, cook 10 minutes per side on medium heat
