These comforting, health boosting lentils are perfect anytime, but especially on a cold dreary day. Add extra broth to keep it soupy then serve it over brown rice, topped with chicken breast.
Ingredients
- 3 cups water
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 lb lentils rinsed
- 3 Tbsp liquid aminos
- 1 packet dry onion soup mix
- 1 cup frozen seasoning blend
- 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp sage
- 1/4 tsp mineral salt
Instructions
- Pour water and broth into crockpot
- Add all other ingredients to pot, mix well, cover and cook on high for 3-4 hours.
- Stir frequently and be sure your liquid doesn’t dry out.
