This recipe sounds awesome. I absolutely will try this!
Can we substitute baking blend and gentle sweet?
If you sub in baking blend, this is no longer EFB. As to gentle sweet, yes you may sub that in.
Can’t wait to try this fried!
Oh my! Yes please!
I tried this recipe…it is AMAZING…Thank you Elena
So glad you like it! and You’re welcome!
I made these! Fabulous EFB dessert.
So glad you like it!
Glazed doughnuts are an all-time favorite over here! How do these compare? Also…can this be used as a proper breakfast???
Doughnuts are never a proper breakfast. Lol! Your breakfast and every meal should always be comprised of a protein, a fuel and a veggie.
Can I replace a combo of butter & coconut oil to get the flavor of the buttery coconut oil? Or add some butter extract to coconut oil?
Apologies for this very late response, but I was in the process of relocating. Yes you may. You can do a 1 to 1 of butter and coconut oil or add butter extract.
I made these tonight, and they were delicious! I did make a couple of subs because I am dairy free. I subbed coconut milk (canned) for the heavy cream and in the slimming blend instead of whey powder, I used egg white protein powder (plan approved). Definitely will be making again!
I’m glad you were able to make the recipe work for you and that you enjoyed them!
