Why not turkey wings? I usually buy tenderloins, or ground turkey and thought a change of pace was in order. Decided to bake it rather than fry it so I don’t have to babysit it.
Ingredients
- 3 whole turkey wings or 3 lbs of wings
- 2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 2 Tbsp avocado or olive oil
- 2 Tbsp garlic powder
- 1 Tbsp onion powder
- 1 tsp rotisserie chicken seasoning
- 2 tsp mineral salt
- 1 Tbsp adobo seasoning
- 1 Tbsp dried thyme
- 1 Tbsp dried parsley
- 2 tsp paprika
- 1 cup chicken broth
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350
- Cut wings into individual pieces if whole
- Place in bowl and drizzle apple cider vinegar over wings - rub each piece well
- Drizzle oil over wings
- Add all dry seasonings and rub into each piece (it’s messy but necessary)
- Place wings in individual layer in baking pan
- Pour broth into bowl (not pan) with seasonings - swirl around to absorb, then pour into pan with chicken
- Place into heated oven, bake for 70 minutes.
- Increase oven temperature to 375. Bake an additional 20 minutes
- Baste at the 30 and 60 minute mark.
