Ingredients

  • 10 oz package of Birdseye frozen brown rice
  • 13 oz can of kidney beans
  • 1/2 tsp mineral salt
  • 1/4 tsp creole seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth

Instructions

  • Nuke rice as per package directions
  • While rice is cooking, drain beans in colander and rinse under hot water.
  • Place beans and all seasonings including broth in saucepan over medium heat- mix well
  • Add rice to pan with beans, mix in to fully combine. Remove from heat and serve.
