Smooth Creamy Oats with a delicious cake batter taste and your requisite veggies; hence the green color! This makes 2 regular servings as LF, but if you have a hearty appetite you can have the whole thing as C meal. It’s pretty generous though!
Ingredients
- 2 cups unsweetened nut milk
- 1 cup spinach loosely packed of fresh frozen, I buy fresh and freeze
- 3 Tbsp SweetEs Fusion Sweet
- 2 Tbsp hydrolyzed collagen peptides
- 1/2 cup old fashioned rolled oats - ground into flour I keep this made in a container
- 1/2 tsp aluminum free baking powder
- 1/8 tsp mineral salt
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp almond extract
- 1/4 tsp butter extract
Instructions
- Place milk and spinach in high speed blender, purée until smooth. I use purée feature on my DASH blender
- Mix all dry ingredients in small bowl
- Pour milk and spinach mixture into saucepan over medium heat.
- Add dry stuff to liquid- whisking quickly to combine and smooth out any lumps.
- Add extracts - whisk while cooking for 3-4 minutes until thickened.
