With (LF) option
Crispy, juicy, breaded tenders that are so yummy you won’t miss those from the fast food joints! I made this two ways to give you options, but both options fit EFB meals. One version is fried stovetop in oil. The other is air fried with no oil.
If you don’t have my Slimming Blend, give it a shot with oat fiber!
Ingredients
Breading
- 1/4 cup SweetEs slimming blend can use oat fiber
- 1/4 tsp SweetEs Flavor Smack seasoning can use any no sugar added seasoning salt
- 1/8 tsp mineral salt
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Tenders
- 1/4 cup of oil for frying
- Juice from 1/2 lemon
- 1 lb chicken tenders
- 1/2 tsp SweetEs Flavor Smack seasoning
- 1/4 tsp mineral salt
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp thyme
Instructions
- Prepare breading by mixing Slimming blend and seasonings.
- Mix well and place in a shallow dish or plate. Set aside
- Place oil in frying pan over medium high heat .
- Prepare tenders by squeezing juice from lemon over pieces, followed by seasonings.
- Use your hands to massage each piece being sure it’s well coated with seasonings.
- Dip each piece in breading mixture being sure each piece is coated.
- Lay carefully in hot oil and fry each side for 4-5 minutes depending on thickness
- For LF option: Heat air fryer to 400 for 5 minutes (start this process right after step 3 above)
- Spray basket with cooking spray then lay pieces in single layers in basket.
- Fry for 5 minutes- then turn and fry two additional minutes.

Just a question, the spices mentioned under your flavour smack, are they extra or do we use those in place if we don’t have your flavour smack? Silly question, just not sure ?
