I wanted to make a simplified version of my green porridge utilizing no special ingredients, just stuff around the house. The only thing you’ll need is a high speed blender that fully pulverizes stuff. Why green you say? Why not? It gets your day started with veggies, without actually eating veggies. What more could be better?
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsweetened nut milk I used cashew
- 1/4 cup oats
- 1/2 cup fresh/frozen spinach I buy fresh bags and freeze
- 1/4 cup egg whites
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp cloves
- 1/8 tsp mineral salt
- 2-3 Tbsp SweetEs fusion sweet (adjust to your taste)
Instructions
- Add first four ingredients to high speed blender. Use purée setting to completely pulverize. Your end result should be a smooth green milk.
- Add green milk to saucepan over medium heat, add balance of ingredients and whisk until thickened- about three minutes.
- Serve immediately.
