Even Better Biscuits (EFB)
Almost zero carb biscuits that actually taste like biscuits!

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup whey protein isolate unflavored (I use Piping Rock)
- 1/2 cup SweetEs slimming blend
- 3 Tbsp oat fiber
- 1 Tbsp aluminum free baking powder
- 1/2 tsp mineral salt
- 1 1/2 Tbsp SweetEs fusion sweet (can use gentle sweet)
- 1/2 Tbsp xanthan gum
- 1/2 cup Nutiva buttery coconut oil melted
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk -nuked for 30 seconds
- 1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
Instructions
- Combine all dry ingredients in mixing bowl- whisk well
- Mix coconut oil and egg into dough, using fork or spatula, until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Add nut milk and acv, mix to combine
- Let sit 10 minutes
- Place 12 equal sized mounds on parchment lined cookie sheet
- Bake at 375 for 10-12 minutes. Oven temps vary...yours may need a bit more time
Notes
For a nut free option, you can use coconut milk, but this takes it out of the EFB category.

These were easy to make, I made 12 in muffin pan lined with parchment liners. They actually came right out of the liners with ease.
