Want dinner on the table in under 20 minutes? This side dish only takes 10 minutes to throw together!
Ingredients
- 10 oz package of Birdseye frozen brown rice
- 13 oz can of kidney beans
- 1/2 tsp mineral salt
- 1/4 tsp creole seasoning
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
Instructions
- Nuke rice as per package directions
- While rice is cooking, drain beans in colander and rinse under hot water.
- Place beans and all seasonings including broth in saucepan over medium heat- mix well
- Add rice to pan with beans, mix in to fully combine. Remove from heat and serve.
