I’m not a huge breakfast eater early in the mornings and sometimes I want more than coffee. Since I have a crazy commute, I need things that I can grab and go, and drink while driving..hahaha! Seriously though this is perfect because it’s drinkable but still has “body” to it.
Requires blender equipped with Soup Mode
Ingredients
- 12 oz unsweetened nut milk coconut from the carton-not can- is ideal here
- 1/2 cup old fashioned rolled oats raw
- 1/2 cup frozen diced okra
- 3 Tbsp SweetEs fusion sweet
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp coconut extract
- 2 Tbsp hydrolyzed collagen peptides
- 1/8 tsp black pepper not optional
- 1/8 tsp cayenne optional
- 1 tsp MCT oil
- 1 pinch salt
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in high-speed blender on soup mode. Process until complete.
- If mixture is too thick after blending add an additional 1/4 cup nut milk
Notes
If you don’t have soup mode, blend until smooth, then finish stove top, but only cook for a few minutes or it will become edible, not drinkable.
